Our PTA and School Administration are working to provide visual arts programs through PTA Funding and Grants.

Thanks to all the dads, grandads, uncles and caregivers who came to our school breakfast with students. Over 130 caregivers and 189 students had breakfast in school on October 26th.
Through the redesign of traffic flow during the morning drop-off on 16th Avenue, we are asking all parents to use this safe arrival plan. If you wish to walk your child to school, please utilize legal parking in the neighborhood. The NYPD and Cohen Children’s Hospital have collaborated with P.S. 209 on this Pilot Program.
The easiest way to stay informed about your child’s education is to get involved at his or her school.
Attend parent-teacher conferences, volunteer at school events, and join the PTA.
Our school provides nutritious meals every day. Free breakfast starts at 7:40 A.M. School Foods does not cater to special diets. Always fill out the School Meals Application Form. Completing it helps your school secure State funding, if applicable.
DOE Translation Services supports parents with over-the-phone translation.
Annual Pajama Drive for children living in shelters and group homes through November 23rd. Each child who donates pajamas gets a book from Scholastic Books.
